Our Children learn from free-play and structured activities. We provide daily age appropriate activities to stimulate the children, and the planning of the curriculum is of paramount importance. This has a strong influence on building and independent skills, language and literacy development, self esteem, confidence and covers all areas of learning.
In a typical day, we can move from structured learning to free play activities such as easel painting, sand and water play, construction and the home-corner are always readily available.
With our structured class, our weekly outdoor focus is done via observation of the children. This is to ensure the activities are child oriented and enables us to help develop the individual need of the child. Each room follows the current Early Years Curriculum and develops activities accordingly.
“It is absolutely critical that we start with the child, be led by the child and find ways to respond which suits the child” (Anna Ephgrave, 2018)

Our Sensory Room
Our sensory room is specially designed to help children develop and engage their senses.
Each age group have the chance to access the sensory room. Spending time stimulating their senses helps them develop their children’s prime areas and specific areas of the EYFS as well as encourages a sense of discovery. The room also creates a great ambience for group activities.
